I Am A Powerful Lightworker

I spent three days, last weekend, learning to talk to angels, at an Angel Intuitive course with Doreen Virtue PhD.

The truth is, I already knew how to talk to angels, but what I realised on the weekend, is that I had forgotten to actually do it.  I had forgotten to ask their advice in all that I do.  I had forgotten that I am never alone.

Don’t get me wrong; I’m not saying I knew everything we were taught on the weekend.  I have pages and pages of notes, and still didn’t capture it all.  In fact, I took more notes than I had ever done before at any of the Hay House events I have been to.

Along with lessons, we were given practical exercises to practise what we had learned.

We learned that, no matter whom we are, what we have done, or what we believe, we all have angels, and we can all communicate with them if we wish.

Although when I learned to communicate with angels, I learned to raise my vibration, I discovered last weekend that our angels can match our lower vibration, and then bring us back to a higher vibration.  You just need an intention to communicate with them, and if you are having any difficulties, you can always ask for help.

Another major lesson was that we tend to accumulate cords of fear, which keep us attached to those who have caused us fear and hurt.  Archangel Michael can help us to cut or dissolve these cords, which, if left, could continue to grow and become stronger.

Although these cords are attached to the etheric body, they can cause or contribute to physical symptoms in that same area of the physical body.  Dissolving the cords can have a miraculous effect, but forgiveness of the person and oneself is a vital component in the healing process.

Yet another lesson related to Earth Angel realms.  Doreen explained that we all have personal goals to achieve and lessons to learn in this lifetime.  However, along with these goals, Earth Angels also have a global mission, for which they have signed up before incarnating on this planet.  Their mission is to leave this world a better place than when they arrived.  I believe this is something we can all aspire to.

Apparently, each Earth Angel is incarnated in this lifetime with certain attributes and goals, which allow us to identify ourselves as a particular Earth Angel realm, although some in the class had attributes from a number of realms.  It was explained to us that we were not taught about realms in order to be divisive, for we are, in truth, all one – one with the angels, one with our creator, and one with each other.  However, knowing our Earth Angel realm can help us to understand ourselves and to understand each other.

I won’t list all of the realms here, but some examples are Knights Paladin, Star People, Incarnated Angels, and Merpeople.

With my love of animals, there was a good chance that I was going to be an Incarnated Elemental, but when we were asked to find our group, I stopped off with the Star People, as I am definitely shy, abhor violence, and quite like science fiction.

After a few moments with them, I knew I should move on, but when I joined the Incarnated Elementals, I felt a definite sense of relief.  I had come home.

I can definitely vouch for its positive effects.  After reading this book, I already felt like a powerful lightworker, even before the affirmations which we learned at the course:

• I AM A POWERFUL LIGHTWORKER
• I AM PROFOUNDLY CLAIRVOYANT
• IF I GET NERVOUS, I FOCUS ON SERVICE
• I think they worked, because I even had success with my previously disappointing clairvoyance, when I was able to successfully describe the deceased grandmother of someone I was reading for.

Afterwards, I started to think about my reasons for feeling such joy during the course.  I guess there were a lot of angels present, so that is bound to cause joy, but I knew that there was more to it than that.

As I reflected on my weekend, I realised that my joy was caused mainly by my freedom to be my authentic self all weekend, without fear of being thought of as any more weird than anyone else.  During the weekend I did things I would never normally do in public without some cajoling:  I danced uninhibitedly; I asked a total stranger if she would like me to join her for lunch, and then allowed her the freedom to decline the offer, without taking any offence whatsoever; I even hugged a tree or two, if only briefly.

If we all felt free to be our authentic selves every day, in every circumstance, perhaps we could be joyful no matter where we were and no matter whose company we kept.  I realised that this is definitely something worth aiming for.

I am keen to assimilate into my life all that I learned, and, as a Certified Angel Intuitive, will soon be in a position to focus on service in that role.  Watch this space.
