I hadn’t had much time to think about blogging today and now that I have, time is getting away from me. So I thought I would offer you an excerpt about time from one of my books: We Are One.
Angela, the character in my books, learned to have conversations with God, just as Neale Donald Walsch and many others had done before her. There is nothing special about Angela, or Neale, or any of the others; we can all have conversations with God, given sufficient faith.
Angela: I wanted to ask about ‘There’s enough.’ I have found lately that there isn’t enough time or money to do what I want to do. What can I do to experience this truth?
God: You need to believe it to experience it. You can’t experience a truth if you don’t believe it. You experience what you believe in. You need to believe that there’s enough and enough is what there will be. Time is not your master; you are its master.
Angela: That would be great, but how can I make that my reality?
God: As with all things, believe and it is so. You are a creative being. You can create the experiences you desire. If you wish time to be your servant, ask and you shall receive. Believe and it is so. You can know that time is flexible, as you have been told previously. You can achieve a great deal in a short space of time. But you can’t keep looking at your watch and then expect time to wait for you. Live as if there is enough time. This means only use a watch or clock when it is absolutely necessary. Otherwise follow your feelings, your intuition, and you can become the master of time. You can be the master of time in every second of every day of every week of every month of ever year. You are a master. Act and believe like one and all will be well.
Angela: Thanks God. I’ll give it a try, but it is hard to avoid the reminders of time when you have a grandfather clock chiming on the quarter hour.
God: Yes that does make it more difficult, but not impossible. You can stretch time, but only in quarter hour lots. This makes it more hard work for you. If you stop the chiming you would find it easier to stretch time as you require it. Remember though that you have a universe working to bring you all of your desires. If you desire time to be stretched, the universe must find a way to bring you that desire. Have faith and all will be well.
As with conversing with God, stretching time is merely a matter of faith. As we have been told in the Bible, with the faith of a mustard seed, we can move mountains. As we also learned from the Bible: Ask and you shall receive; Seek and you shall find; Knock and the door shall be opened unto you. With the faith of a mustard seed, we can converse with God or stretch time. With the faith of a mustard seed, we can achieve all of our desires.
